August 9, 2008 we welcomed our 3 little miracles into the world.
I carried them for 35 weeks and 4 days. I had a great, uncomplicated pregnancy and walked into a schedule c-section.
The babies were all born at 6:46 pm.Tyler weighed 5 lbs 4 oz, 18 ½ inches longConner weighed 4 lbs 15 oz, 16 ½ inches longLuke weighed 3 lbs 14 oz, 16 inches log
Connor was able to come to me immediately but Tyler and Luke went to the NICU because they needed to learn to suck and swallow. They each spent 2 weeks in the hospital learning the skills they needed. They became over achievers, eating very well and putting on weight. All the boys have remained very healthy and are growing very quickly.

The beginning...
Dave and I were married on September 16, 2006. We wanted children but needed some help. In December 2007 we began ivf fertility treatments. On January 3rd we got the news we were pregnant. Dave was with me when we got the phone call telling us that I was pregnant. The nurse told me that I was ... ummm... very pregnant! My beta was 2542. I was told anything over 5 meant you were pregnant and a number higher than 20 indicated a possible viable pregnancy! Wow! I was told they were sure I was pregnant with multiples. On January 16, I was 6 weeks pregnant when we had our first ultrasound and we saw TRIPLETS!! We heard 3 heartbeats!! I prayed my body could handle it because I just fell in love with all the little heartbeats and the little miracles that were created. It was a truly amazing experience. My doctor asked my husband if he needed to sit down. Dave was shocked but had so much strength. During my pregnancy I usually felt strong and determined, but when I was weak he was there to take care of me and help give me the strength to contine to grow our babies.
